PRACTICE UPDATE (18/11/2022)

Please note that we are making some changes (effective 18/11/2022) to how we operate at AMITY FAMILY PRACTICE.

1) We are doing some upgrades / renovations to our practice starting soon, as part of our quality improvement (exact date and affected timeframe TBA). This may cause some disruption to our service in the short term, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused during this period.

2) We are temporarily closing our books as our capacity to take new patients will be diminished during this period of upgrade. We plan to restart taking new patients from 1st Feb 2023.

3) From 1st February 2023 onwards, we are moving towards a mixed billing practice. This is to ensure that we can continue to operate without the pressure of closing under financial constraints. We look forward to your support during this transition, understanding that it is not viable anymore to run a medical practice under current Medicare benefits.

OUR FEES (effective 1st FEB 2023)

Standard Consultation $75 (rebate $39.75)

Long Consultation $110 (rebate $76.95)

Concession card holders and health care card holders:

Standard Consultation: $65 (rebate $39.75)

Long Consultation: $100 (rebate 76.95)

Children under 16 and seniors over 65 with current pension card will be Bulk billed.

Missing 3 appointments will incur a fee and will have to be paid before further appointments can be offered.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible.

Cancellation within 2 hours will incur a private fee.
